Chandra is happiest in wild spaces, especially mountain forests with swimmable lakes. She loves discovering the stories of places, whether legends of sirens along Germany’s Rheinsteig trail, tales of trolls in Norway, or local fables of twenty-year naps in the Catskills. Chandra grew up in Colorado and Arizona, in a family where climbing, skiing, and hiking 14ers were vacation activities of choice. She is fortunate enough to have summitted high peaks around the world with her dad and siblings, including Kilimanjaro, Rainier, Elbrus, and the Grand Teton (still looking at you, Matterhorn). Her current joy is exploring and sharing her own NY backyard—first as a client with Adventure Untamed, and now as a guide!
