Jeff has lived in NYC for over twenty years but grew up in rural New England and has always maintained his love of the outdoors and adventure. The challenge of the ascent, the sense of accomplishment upon summiting, the comradery amongst fellow hikers, the tranquility of the mountains, the joy of exploring new environments, and the incredible views all combine to bring him back to the trail over and over again.

In addition to backpacking, Jeff also enjoys skiing and is a certified open-water diver. In
between adventures, you can find him spending time with his family in Manhattan, keeping
tabs on the stock market, catching a local rock show, or losing his voice at a Yankees game.
