What is the 3500 Club?
The Catskill 3500 Club “was founded in 1962 to foster interest in hiking in the Catskills. Membership is open to all persons who have climbed on foot each of the 33 Catskill peaks above 3500 feet in elevation.”(catskill-3500-club.org)
To help adventurers in New York, and elsewhere, in their pursuit of the Catskill high peaks, Adventure Untamed is guiding a trip to each of the peaks at least once every year. As a Leave No Trace Community Partner, we’ll be climbing each peak responsibly and teaching our participants ways to minimize the impact on these wild places.
